Our hospital proudly offers wellness exams for all of our patients on an annual to biannual basis. Wellness exams are integral in developing a meaningful relationship with your pet and allowing the veterinary team to offer recommendations for preventatives, vaccines, and at-home care to keep your pet as healthy as possible. VETERINARY DIAGNOSTIC LABS
At Powder Mill Animal Hospital, we strongly believe in routine blood and urine screens in our patients in an effort to promote early-detection of diseases and allow our clients more options when it comes to management of their pet. Our on-site veterinary diagnostic labs are available to provide fast and accurate results. This gives us the opportunity to help treat your sick or healthy pet in the best manner possible.
DIGITAL HIGH DEFINITION X-RAY
Radiographs are an integral diagnostic tool used to help diagnose your pet's injury or illness. At Powder Mill Animal Hospital, we utilize cutting-edge digital imaging technology to understand the full extent of what is happening with your pet. This newer technology ensures that your pet receives a safe and low-dose of radiation which yields a high definition digital image. These images can be easily shared electronically with referral specialists and prevents the need for further x-rays for the same injury.
SURGICAL AND DENTAL PROCEDURES
Feel confident having soft tissue surgical procedures performed on your pet, right in your backyard! We offer spays, neuters, mass removals, and abdominal surgeries using the safest anesthetic techniques as well as a strong emphasis on pain management.
Allow us to provide preventative and rescue dental procedures on your pet to keep their mouth as healthy as possible. We are always willing and excited to discuss dental health with any of our patients!
CARDIOLOGY SPECIALTY SERVICES
We have proudly partnered with Casagrande Cardiology to offer our clients specialty cardiac services within the PMAH facility. Dr. Casagrande, a board-certified veterinary cardiologist, will expertly perform echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, blood pressures, interpretation of chest radiographs, thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis, and pericardiocentesis to help provide the best possible care for your pet.
